Terra Liber is a Chilean exporter specialized in premium nuts and dried fruits, with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and exceptional service. The company is committed to opening new business opportunities both in Chile and internationally, while building long-term relationships that add value across the entire export chain and support free trade in an increasingly globalized market.
In this interview, Felipe Beltrán shares Terra Liber’s vision, its approach to international markets, and the strategic principles that guide the company’s growth and partnerships worldwide.
Can you introduce Terra Liber and its diversified offering?
At Terra Liber, we are dedicated to exporting the finest Chilean nuts and dried fruits, placing special emphasis on providing high-quality service to our clients. Our commitment is to continue opening new business opportunities, both domestically and internationally, and to build relationships that add value across the entire export chain, promoting free trade in a globalized world.
Regarding our product offering, we work with the main nuts and dried fruits that Chile has to offer. Our core products include raisins, walnuts (both in-shell and shelled), and prunes, followed closely by almonds, hazelnuts, and cranberries. We are also actively seeking new markets for emerging products such as figs, among others.
How do you manage quality across multiple dried fruits and nuts?
At Terra Liber, quality is non-negotiable and represents a fundamental pillar of both the products and services we deliver to each of our international clients. Throughout every process, we apply a double quality check—both internal and external—to ensure compliance with the standards expected and agreed upon with our customers.
Which products have the highest demand in international markets?
The products with the highest demand are primarily raisins, walnuts, and prunes, which can be considered Chile’s flagship products. Most global markets demand them; however, each product has its preferred destination. For example, raisins are mainly destined for the Middle East; in-shell walnuts for India and shelled walnuts for Europe; prunes for Europe and China. To a lesser extent, almonds are exported to markets such as Russia and South America, and so on.
How do you serve both bulk buyers and retail clients?
While our offering is mainly focused on bulk shipments, both segments are treated with equal importance. Retail is a market we have not yet fully developed, but we are aware that several of our clients operate in this segment, representing a strong business opportunity. Developing and expanding into retail would allow us to continue adding value to the export chain and become even more attractive to our bulk clients, who may also consider entering the retail segment.
What are your objectives for Gulfood Dubai 2026?
Our objectives for Gulfood 2026 are to continue building and strengthening existing commercial relationships. This is a long-term business, so each year it is essential to reinforce cooperation and consistently present our best value proposition. Additionally, the fair will allow us to further position ourselves within the industry, expand toward new clients and markets that we have not yet developed, and ultimately continue growing while showcasing the best of Chile to the world.
