Ana Elena Pinto Lizano has been appointed as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Costa Rica, a position she will officially assume on October 15. The announcement was made by President Laura Fernández Delgado.
Pinto Lizano brings to the role over 24 years of diplomatic service, having joined the Costa Rican Foreign Service on March 1, 2002. A seasoned international relations expert, she holds a master’s degree in Management and International Negotiations, and is multilingual, fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian.
