Chile and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation
Chile’s Foreign Minister Francisco Pérez Mackenna held a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Bin Ahmed al-Jubeir, to discuss the shared agenda and opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation.
The talks focused on key areas of mutual interest, including trade, energy and mining, highlighting the potential to expand economic ties between Chile and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the call, Pérez Mackenna also expressed Chile’s solidarity regarding the ongoing conflict in the Persian Gulf and emphasized the importance of maintaining freedom of navigation as a cornerstone of regional stability and international commerce.
The conversation reflects Chile’s interest in strengthening its engagement with the Gulf region while advancing practical cooperation in strategic sectors.
