Strengthening Maritime Cooperation: Panama’s Ambassador Meets with Panama Maritime Authority in the UAE
On August 4, 2026, a significant step was taken in strengthening ties within the Panamanian maritime sector. H.E. Lisa Mae Mastellari, Ambassador of Panama to the United Arab Emirates, convened a working meeting with leaders from the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP). The session focused on discussing institutional matters of interest and further solidifying the ongoing commitment to enhanced coordination for the benefit of Panama’s maritime industry.
The meeting underscored the importance of sustained collaboration between diplomatic missions and national maritime authorities in promoting the sector’s interests abroad. All attendees reaffirmed their dedication to building on Panama’s status as a leading maritime nation and fostering initiatives that will have long-term positive impacts on operations and global positioning.
