0 Pablo Zamora’s Tenure at Fundación Chile: A Four-Year Legacy of Innovation and Strategic Renewal In a recent milestone announcement, Pablo Zamora , CEO of Rebel Factory, entrepreneur, advisor, and former Co-Founder of NotCo, shared the conclusion of his tenure as Executive President of Fundación Chile . Appointed by President Gabriel Boric , Zamora held the role for four years and two months , leading the organization through a period of significant transformation and growth. Zamora’s message on LinkedIn was imbued with gratitude and pride , reflecting on the challenges and successes that defined his leadership. According to Zamora, when he assumed office, Fundación Chile required " urgent adjustments, strategic direction, a committed board, and a functioning compass ." Under the directorship (2022-2026), Zamora and his team succeeded in fostering an environment of internal harmony, establishing a long-term development plan , and setting mission-oriented goals . He emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between the administrative and executive divisions, crediting much of the progress to the dedication and collaboration of the institution's staff and board. “The board achieved its mission,” Zamora wrote, highlighting the harmonious internal relations and the clear direction toward development and mission-focused objectives that were established during his leadership phase. He was keen to acknowledge the contributions of key people, among them Leyla Morales Giordano (union leader), Hernán Araneda (administration), Harumi Yonekura , Loreto Velázquez Ziede , Loreto Aravena Mori , Eduardo Mujica Urzúa , and Francisca Contreras Vera for their "tireless support". Fundación Chile , Zamora reminded his audience, is unique in its ability to facilitate deep transformations . Its continued relevance, he argued, is contingent on attention, dedication, and focus . Zamora warned that, “when the State neglects it, it loses its way and becomes irrelevant.” The past four years, he asserted, have been pivotal in restoring Fundación Chile to its role as an " implementing arm of the State," actively addressing Chile’s most urgent challenges , driving the development of new economies , and generating proposals for public policies grounded in technical expertise, all with the potential to impact millions. He expressed his appreciation to the public sector directors who trusted the renewed vision and gave their best to the mission: José Miguel Benavente, Alejandra Pizarro Guerrero, Leo Prieto, Alan Farcas, and Nolfa Ibañez . Zamora concluded his message stating, " I am very happy and proud to have, during these four years, returned Fundación Chile to the place it deserves. Alongside the board, we have left this organization better than we found it, not for our own good, but for Chile's. " This leadership chapter at Fundación Chile is marked by collaborative engagement , vision-driven management , and a commitment to transforming the institution into a proactive agent for national progress and innovation.
