Paraguay Reinforces Its Presence at Gulfood 2026: An Export Strategy Toward Global Markets
Dubai, United Arab Emirates — January 30, 2026
Paraguay marked a renewed presence at Gulfood 2026, the world’s leading food and beverage exhibition, held from January 26 to 30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), consolidating the event as a strategic platform to connect national production with buyers and importers from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
A key highlight of this edition was the institutional return of the Paraguayan Meat Chamber (CPC) after eight years of absence, reflecting a strategic commitment to reposition the country in the global animal protein market.
“The first day was intense, and the commercial activity reflects genuine interest in Paraguayan beef at a time when global demand for high-quality protein continues to grow,” said Daniel Burt, General Manager of the CPC, who emphasized the positive outlook and business opportunities with buyers from different continents.
Companies such as Frigochaco, specialized in the production and export of Paraguayan beef, used this international showcase to strengthen commercial ties and demonstrate the quality of the country’s protein, competing in a highly demanding global market.
Paraguay’s presence at Gulfood 2026 not only allowed companies to showcase products suitable for diverse consumer profiles, but also to gain insights into global trends, traceability requirements, and increasingly strict sanitary standards, all of which are key elements for building long-term commercial relationships.
For the national export sector, the experience in Dubai reinforces the importance of maintaining a consistent presence at high-impact international trade fairs such as Gulfood, a strategic platform for expanding Paraguay’s participation in global value chains and opening new commercial routes.
