An Argentine Burger Joint Crowned Best in the World
La Birra Bar has achieved new global recognition. This Argentine hamburger restaurant, founded in the Boedo neighborhood, was awarded the title of best in the world after earning its third star at the Dubai Burger Championship 2024.
The honor, granted by the event that brought together twenty establishments from the United Arab Emirates and various countries, was awarded to the hamburger created especially for the occasion, the Crispy Dubai.
The Dubai Burger Championship debuted this year as an international competition designed to showcase the most awarded and influential burger joints in the industry.
The Crispy Dubai burger, specially developed for the contest, granted the Argentine brand its third international star.
Fifteen Emirati contenders and only five international participants took part, with La Birra Bar representing Argentina. The brand came with a reputation already established: recently selected as an ambassador for Marca País Argentina and twice winner of the title for best hamburger in the United States. This new accolade in Dubai supports over two decades of hard work.
“Thanks to everyone for the support, for organizing an event of such magnitude. We are champions,” wrote La Birra Bar on its official Instagram account.
A panel of distinguished judges recognized the sustained effort and excellence of the family venture, placing it among the most influential gastronomic businesses today.

Among top international competitors, the Argentine burger went up against renowned names like Hundred Burgers (Spain), Holy Burger (Brazil), Rekas Burger (Sweden), and Burger & Beyond (United Kingdom).
Over more than twenty years, La Birra Bar has grown from its original spot in Boedo to locations across Argentina and beyond. This new honor not only reaffirms the brand’s prestige but also highlights the promise of Argentine cuisine on the global stage.
