Dubai, February 18, 2025 –  His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President & Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, officially inaugurated Gulfood 2025, the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade exhibition. The prestigious event, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from February 17 to 21, 2025, brought together global industry leaders, food innovators, and top brands to showcase the future of food.

Sheikh Mohammed’s Visit: A Testament to Dubai’s Global Trade Leadership

During his visit on the opening day, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured the exhibition halls, engaging with leading food manufacturers, technology pioneers, and national pavilions from across the world.

“Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a global hub for trade and innovation. Gulfood reflects our commitment to fostering international partnerships and driving the future of food security and sustainability,” Sheikh Mohammed stated.

His visit underscored Dubai’s role in shaping global food trends, reinforcing the UAE’s National Food Security Strategy 2051, which focuses on sustainability, technology-driven food production, and international trade expansion.
