Can you introduce Syngular and its oat-based products?
Syngular Cereals is a mill specialized in oats, where we process oats produced by Chilean farmers to manufacture different types of flakes, flours, and hulled and stabilized (toasted) grains.
What are the benefits of your processed oats for food manufacturers?
Oats are a 100% natural product, with no additives of any kind. The process involves only hulling, toasting, cutting, and rolling, without the intervention of any other product, additive, or manipulation. Oats help control cholesterol and blood sugar levels and are rich in essential amino acids for humans, as well as antioxidants such as beta-glucan.
How does oat flour fit into healthy eating trends?
Oat flour has been playing a very important role in the development of alternative milks, particularly oat “milk,” which has become the most important global substitute for dairy milk.
Which standards guide your production processes?
Given that our oats are prepared for direct human consumption, requiring only some repackaging, quality assurance is essential in our production process. For this reason, we operate under the HACCP standard.
How do you see the growth of plant-based demand in the Gulf region?
Oats, as an important natural, healthy, and plant-based food, are a key part of the growth that these products have experienced worldwide, particularly in the Gulf region, which—due to its climatic characteristics—imports most of this type of food.
