The Concept Behind Reminiscencia
The genesis of Reminiscencia can be traced back to the solitude experienced during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. Sitting alone in front of his computer, Vaca Valenzuela delved into the digital realm, searching for maps of his hometown, Santiago. His quest was not merely geographical; it aimed to capture the essence of specific locations at different moments in time, particularly those surrounding his neighborhood near the city center, a place rich in both festive gatherings and passionate protests.
