Chile successfully concluded its participation at Gulfood Dubai 2026, the world’s largest and most influential food and beverage trade exhibition, marking a highly positive outcome for the Chilean delegation led by ProChile and supported by the local office.
Over five days of exhibition, the Chile Pavilion brought together more than 20 Chilean exporting companies, showcasing a diversified portfolio of premium food products, including nuts, dried fruits, prunes, raisins, cereals, plant-based products and value-added agro-food solutions, tailored to the needs of the Middle East and international markets.
Strong Commercial Results and Market Interest
Chile’s participation at Gulfood 2026 generated significant commercial momentum, with preliminary results reflecting the growing interest in Chilean food products in the Gulf region:
- More than 800 B2B business meetings held with importers, distributors, retailers and food industry professionals.
- Participation of buyers and visitors from over 40 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, India and Africa.
- Estimated business expectations exceeding US$ 53 Millon in short- and medium-term opportunities.
- Strong demand identified for walnuts, prunes, raisins, almonds, oats and plant-based products, aligned with regional trends in food security, health and sustainability.
These results confirm Chile’s position as a reliable, competitive and high-quality food supplier, capable of responding to the evolving needs of global markets.

Beyond immediate commercial outcomes, Gulfood 2026 strengthened Chile’s institutional and business presence in the region, fostering long-term partnerships, enhancing brand visibility for Chilean companies and reinforcing cooperation between public and private stakeholders.
The event also highlighted Chile’s competitive advantages, including high food safety standards, traceability, sustainability, certified production systems and market access to over 170 countries, making Chile a key contributor to global food systems.
