In a significant move to bolster ties between the United Arab Emirates and Argentina, the UAE Ambassador to Argentina, Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, recently met with Martín Menem, the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina. The meeting took place in Buenos Aires, reflecting both nations’ ongoing commitment to enhancing diplomatic and economic relations.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al Qamzi praised the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Argentina and conveyed greetings from Saqr Ghobash, the President of the UAE’s Federal National Council (FNC). Additionally, Ambassador Al Qamzi delivered an invitation letter from Ghobash to Martín Menem and his delegation, inviting them to visit the UAE and the Federal National Council.
Ambassador Al Qamzi highlighted the UAE’s eagerness to explore new avenues for cooperation, particularly in sectors such as renewable energy, technology, and infrastructure development, which are key areas of focus for both nations. He reiterated the UAE’s interest in deepening its engagement with Argentina, recognizing the country’s strategic importance in Latin America.
Martín Menem expressed Argentina’s willingness to strengthen its relationship with the UAE, acknowledging the opportunities for both countries to benefit from closer ties. He noted the UAE’s impressive economic growth and its role as a leading player in the Middle East, offering valuable insights into potential areas of collaboration.
This meeting marks another step in the ongoing efforts to enhance UAE-Argentina relations, building on the shared vision of economic prosperity and cultural exchange.
