H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, today received Carlos Ramiro Martínez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City during the Guatemalan minister’s visit to the UAE.
The meeting was attended by Jorge Rafael Ruiz, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to the UAE, as well as several senior officials.
His Highness extended a warm welcome to the Guatemalan Foreign Minister and his delegation, engaging in discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and advancing mutual interests in several areas, with specific emphasis on the economic, trade, and investment sectors. The dialogue underscored a commitment to driving further prosperity and sustainable development.
The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah highlighted the importance of the growing ties of friendship and the evolving partnership between the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the Republic of Guatemala. He affirmed their pivotal role in enhancing growth opportunities across major sectors of importance to both sides.
Martínez expressed his gratitude for the reception, stating his appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for the warm welcome and hospitality, and reaffirmed Guatemala’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with the UAE and Ras Al Khaimah. He also commended the UAE’s leading role and esteemed position at both regional and international levels.
