ChucaoTech, a Chilean technology company specializing in advanced environmental and digital monitoring solutions, achieved 2nd place at the prestigious Supernova Challenge during Expand North Star and GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology and startup exhibition.
This year’s competition brought together more than 1,700 startups from across the globe, representing the most innovative technologies and business models in fields such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, fintech, and digital transformation. ChucaoTech was the only Latin American company to reach the shortlist, standing out among global contenders for its scientific rigor, technological innovation, and commitment to sustainability.
Represented by its co-founder Tomás Bravo Hepp, ChucaoTech captured the attention of judges and investors with its cutting-edge solutions and impact-driven approach, earning recognition on the global stage as one of the top emerging companies of the event.
“We are extremely proud and grateful to have obtained 2nd place in this world-class competition,” said Tomás Bravo Hepp, co-founder of ChucaoTech. “This recognition validates the talent and innovation coming from Chile and motivates us to continue developing technologies with a positive impact.”
The company extended its special thanks to ProChile, the Chilean government’s export promotion agency, for facilitating its participation in this milestone experience as part of the Innovation Summit Chile–Dubai 2025 and the Chile Pavilion at Expand North Star.
This achievement not only marks a milestone for ChucaoTech but also underscores Chile’s growing position as a hub for innovation and talent in Latin America. The country’s commitment to fostering a robust technology ecosystem — through education, sustainability, and international cooperation — is turning Chile into a reliable global partner for science-based entrepreneurship and digital transformation.
