UAE President Receives Credentials of New Ambassadors

On April 10, 2025, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed a group of newly appointed ambassadors to the United Arab Emirates during a ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. This event underscored the UAE’s commitment to international diplomacy and cooperation.

Ceremony Details

The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with other senior officials. The list of dignitaries included Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs.

Ambassadors Received

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the credentials from the following ambassadors:

  • Jorge Archila, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala
  • Tareq Ahmed, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh
  • Dr Mawien Makol Ariik, Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan
  • Aman Saliev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic
  • Rui Manuel Hanjam, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste
  • Lutfullah Goktas, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye
  • Dr Tauise Minute Taupo, Ambassador of Tuvalu
  • Yossi Avrahem Shelley, Ambassador of the State of Israel
  • Lisa Mae Mastellari Vega, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama
  • Emilio Pin Godos, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain
  • Oumar Teguen Idibei Berde, Ambassador of the Republic of Chad
  • George Janjgava, Ambassador of Georgia

Message from the President

The UAE President warmly welcomed the new ambassadors and expressed his best wishes for their success in strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and their respective countries. He emphasized that these ambassadors would receive all necessary support from the UAE authorities to facilitate their work.

Moreover, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to expanding bridges of cooperation worldwide, aiming to foster prosperity, development, and mutual benefit. The ambassadors conveyed the greetings and best wishes from their respective heads of state for the continued progress and prosperity of the UAE’s leadership and people.

The ceremony highlighted the UAE’s active role in global diplomacy and its dedication to building stronger relationships with countries around the world, reinforcing its position as a vital hub for international cooperation and exchange.
